Nokian Nordman SZ 2
The Nokian Nordman SZ2 is a high-performance summer tyre designed to offer precise and convincing handling on both asphalt and gravel. This UHP (Ultra High Performance) tyre is ideal for intensive use and high speeds, with a range of sizes from 16 to 20 inches and speed ratings of V (240 km/h), W (270 km/h), and Y (300 km/h).
The tread design of the Nokian Nordman SZ2 ensures sporty handling through rigid inner and outer shoulder zones, tread blocks linked by longitudinal ribs, and wide ribs that reduce block movement when in contact with the road. Deep lateral grooves next to the inner shoulder and the Hydro Grooves innovation effectively prevent aquaplaning.
The tread compound is designed to withstand the stress of poorly maintained roads, ensuring a long lifespan even at high speeds. Innovations such as trumpet-shaped grooves enhance safety in rainy weather, a crucial feature for the Nordic summer.
The Nokian Nordman SZ2 also incorporates Nokian Tyres' patented Driving Safety Indicator (DSI), with a water drop symbol that disappears when the tread depth reaches less than four millimetres, signalling an increased risk of aquaplaning.
