Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R CONNECT is an ultra-high-performance tyre developed in partnership with prestigious car manufacturers such as Porsche and Ferrari. It is aimed at experienced drivers of ultra-high-performance cars who seek maximum performance during track sessions. Each tyre is equipped with an internal cavity to integrate pressure and temperature sensors, compatible with the MICHELIN® Track Connect system, sold separately.
The tyre uses tread compounds from the Motorsport Department, optimised for dry tracks. The outer shoulder tread blocks have been reduced, and the central grooves are closer together, which improves block rigidity. This design increases grip forces and enhances driving precision. Additionally, the tyre's contact patch has been widened by nearly 10%, allowing drivers to maximise the power and capabilities of their high-performance vehicles.
