Michelin X-ICE North 4 tyre technology

250 studs for exceptional snow acceleration and braking performance

Optimised, its tread pattern has been specially designed to place a large number of studs in the centre of the tyre and on the shoulders. Compared to the 10 lines that can be achieved by the MICHELIN X-Ice North 3, up to 22 parallel lines can be achieved on the Michelin - X-ICE North 4 tyre. The position of the studs is determined by mathematical algorithms to offer better sound comfort as well as optimal grip.

Nails inspired by the World Rally Championship for more grip and mileage

Equipped with a new generation of studs and an optimised tread pattern, the Michelin X-Ice North 4 ensures a high mileage capacity and a long lifespan.
Using steel studs, the design of its studs and the interaction between them and the tread pattern has been optimised to maximise grip on snow within the framework of current regulations.

New tread design for optimal grip in all winter conditions

Its tread pattern adopts a new V-shape design that allows it to quickly and efficiently evacuate snow. Compared to the previous MICHELIN I-Ice North 3, the number of sipes reaching down to the bottom of the profile has been increased by 50% to achieve excellent performance in all winter conditions.

In the other car, I had the same ones, so I thought I would get the same for this one too. The price was the most advantageous at the time of purchase and the tires arrived on time. The installation will not take place until next winter.
