The function and design of all the sipes and rubber blocks of directional structures have been specifically engineered to deliver maximum grip and handling. Thus, the Centipede Siping present in the middle region of the tyre matches the stiffness of the outer shoulder, while those refined for each position perform on the inner shoulder. They work in synergy to provide the Nokian WR A4 with certain driving comfort and ensure safety in winter on roads that may present very different challenges.

Quiet, solid tyres. I'm switching from Goodyear UltraGrip Performance 3rd gen. These are certainly comparable tyres. Driving comfort, grip, lateral adhesion, braking distance, all good. Nokian is quieter in my use. Ask me in 2 years about longevity.
