Wet Road Braking and Safety: More Rubber on the Road

A new highly uniform rubber blend including silica and elastomers achieves high levels of performance. Moreover, on wet roads, water is efficiently drained through wide and deep longitudinal grooves. This new blend also allows the tyre to extend its longevity and energy efficiency.

A specific design, with a velvet effect and rim protection

For enhanced rim protection, the design of the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 also provides excellent contact through the MICHELIN Premium Touch technology.

Driving precision, control, and high responsiveness

The new "dynamic response" technology includes belts made of a reinforced blend of aramid and nylon to ensure optimal trajectory control.
Due to its extremely high resistance and toughness (5 times stronger than steel), and particularly thanks to its optical fibre, its high-speed force can be optimally controlled and the tyre contact surface remains constant.
